PRS Foundation announces today the 34 organisations that will become Talent Development Partners for 2017/18. These organisations are working at the frontline of talent development in the UK, supporting a broad range of music creators across different music genres and UK regions. PRS Foundation’s Talent Development Partners have been selected for the quality and range of opportunities they are offering in their region/music specialism and the year-round impact their work is having on the music creators they support. Each Talent Development Partner will receive a grant from the Foundation for their year-round activity. Strategic partnerships allow partners to share best practice and encourages successful signposting of music creators between partners and PRS Foundation.
The network has been extended following the pilot programme for 2016/17 which enabled 23 organisations to develop the careers of thousands of music creators. Funded activity has secured national media attention, several organisations partnered for events, and many music creators have been offered progression routes through the network and into PRS Foundation support programmes such as Women Make Music, The Open Fund and Momentum.
