Beyond Borders is a co-commissioning and touring programme run in partnership with Creative Scotland, Arts Council of Wales, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Arts Council of Ireland / An Chomhairle Ealaíon.
Funding of up to £15,000 is available for projects that include new commissions, recordings and repeat performances of music written in the past five years.
This opportunity stimulates collaboration between organisations and bands/ensembles in England, Northern lreland, the Republic of Ireland, Scotland and Wales. It enables music creators to produce exceptional new material to be performed in at least three of these countries.
Launched in 2010, the scheme has supported 31 projects so far, bringing together organisations and music creators across the UK and abroad. Click on the link below to find out more about the projects supported through this fund.
We are delighted that Arts Council of Ireland will be joining us as a partner in 2014-2015, bringing dual benefits of increased investment and increased touring opportunities for performers and music creators.
Decisions will be communicated in mid-August 2014. Activity must take place from September 2014 onwards.

All of these funding bodies believe that co-commissioning presents an effective means of ensuring multiple performances of imaginative new work.
In the current funding climate, we are delighted that they have championed this process and continue to support the development of new music across the whole of the UK.
