PRS for Music Foundation's Beyond Borders funding opportunity stimulates collaboration between organisations in England, Northern lreland, Scotland and Wales. The scheme enables creators to produce exceptional new music to be performed in at least two UK countries.
Launched in 2010, the scheme has supported 16 co-commissioning projects so far, bringing together organisations and music creators across the UK and abroad. Beyond Borders has been made possible by a pioneering UK wide partnership between PRS for Music Foundation, Arts Council of Wales, Arts Council of Northern Ireland and Creative Scotland who joined forces to support cross border collaboration. Thanks also to Foyle Foundation and Colwinston Trust for their valued support.

Further Information
All of these funding bodies believe that co-commissioning presents an effective means of ensuring multiple performances of imaginative new work.
In the current funding climate, we are delighted that they have championed this process and continue to support the development of new music across the whole of the UK.
