NMP…UK was a two year, nationwide, creative and professional development programme created by PRS for Music Foundation and run in conjunction with the hub that enabled hand-picked music events producers to work in partnership with non-music and cross-art form organisations who wanted to strengthen their approach to programming new music. 12 up-and-coming producers were paired with organisations around the UK to develop a series of new and exciting live music events from January 2013, culminating in a national symposium and showcase in the summer of 2014.
New Music Plus… aimed to:
New Music Plus…UK built on two successful pilot programmes in London and the North West, which supported emerging producers to work with organisations from across the performing, visual arts and museum sectors.
This programme has been developed by PRS for Music Foundation (PRSF) in partnership with the hub and is supported by Arts Council England, Arts Council Northern Ireland, Arts Council Wales, Creative Scotland, Paul Hamlyn Foundation and Esmée Fairbairn Foundation.
