PRS for Music Foundation is the UK’s leading charitable funder of new music across all genres. Widely respected as an adventurous and proactive funding body, PRS for Music Foundation supports an exciting range of new music activity – from composer residencies and talent development programmes to festivals and showcases in the UK and overseas. We aim to be a major catalyst for the development of new music and talent in the UK.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and efficient intern to join our team from February to July 2017 on a part-time basis. If you are looking for a career in the music industry, the arts and/or funding and need invaluable experience, then this is the internship for you.
You will have a particular interest in a career in arts/music and talent development, supporting the Grants Team and flagship programmes such as International Showcase Fund and Momentum.
The placement will enable the successful candidate to learn more about the music industry via our links to the PRS for Music and other organisations based at the Foundation’s offices at Kings Cross. You will be involved in the core of our work – assessing and awarding grants to support new music in the UK.
The deadline for applications is 12 noon, Monday 9 January 2017. Interviews will take place on Monday 23 January and we envisage the placement to begin, ideally, by no later than the first week of February.
