Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) Academy 2016
Liverpool International Music Festival (LIMF) is one of Europe’s fastest growing and most diverse music festivals. The festival sees an array of events that focus on celebrating great music, promoting the discovery of new music and nurturing fresh talent. In LIMF’s initial three years, performers have included Basement Jaxx, Damian Marley, Labrinth, Katy B, Laura Mvula, Little Mix, Naughty Boy, Rae Morris and Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra alongside some of the freshest new talent in the UK and beyond.
Through support from the PRS for Music Foundation as a Talent Development Partner Liverpool International Music Festival will continue to support emerging musicians through their LIMF Academy. Aimed at budding artists, bands, producers/DJs between the ages 13-25 from across Merseyside, the award-winning initiative gives new talent exclusive access to activities and insider know-how from the music industry. Since 2013, LIMF Academy have helped elite talents such as Mic Lowry, Taya, XamVolo, Michael Seary and Little Grace go on to launch successful careers through our impressive network of contacts, mentoring and showcasing.
