Glastonbury Festivals Emerging Talent Competition 2016

We’re delighted to announce that the winner of this year’s Glastonbury Festivals Emerging Talent Competition is She Drew The Gun!  The band receives a £5,000 Talent development prize from PRS for Music Foundation and a slot on a main stage at this year’s Glastonbury Festival.

Runners up, Bossy Love, and Hattie Whitehead, each receive a £2,500 talent development prize from PRS for Music Foundation.

Acts entered this year’s competition by supplying a link to one original song on SoundCloud, plus a link to a video of themselves performing live.

Thousands of acts from all musical genres entered the competition.  A short list of 8 then performed in Pilton in front of a judging panel.

PRS for Music Foundation’s support of the Glastonbury Emerging Talent Competition is the result of a longstanding relationship between our main donor PRS for Music and the festival.
