MOBO UnSung Competition

MOBO UnSung is an annual initiative dedicated to identifying and celebrating the next generation of musical talent.

Over the past 21 years, MOBO have been dedicated to providing opportunities and platforms for exceptional British talent. Artists like Stormzy,Sam Smith, Emeli Sandé, Rita Ora, Skepta, FKA twigs, Krept and Konan were all given their first UK TV break through MOBO but they also understand that there’s a wealth of promising young talent toiling in obscurity right across the country.

Offering opportunities to undiscovered artists is nothing new. But the year-round career guidance, vital contact introductionsstudio time with renowned producers, touring opportunities and more, that MOBO UnSung offers is an opportunity. Open to singers, songwriters, producers, rappers and poets (who write/compose their own material). MOBO UnSung is about championing creative individuals who may not be household names in their field but are already showing great promise.

To enter, you cannot be signed to a major or independent record label or music publishing company.

APPLICATIONS ARE NOW CLOSED. PUBLIC VOTING FOR FINALISTS WILL BEGIN AUGUST 18TH.

MOBO UnSung is supported by PRS for Music Foundation and Arts Council England.
